Stewart Buettner is the author of Stolen Book Shuttered Library. He holds a Ph.D. in art history and has authored four novels, two scholarly books and various articles in the field. Much of his life has been spent in libraries and he has held positions in both the art library and the rare book collection of Northwestern University.
